I Favati

I Favati works the volcanic slopes of Campania in Southern Italy, where two native grapes define the cellar's character. Greco Bianco yields the Terrantica Etichetta Bianca Greco di Tufo—a white of mineral precision and aromatic depth. Aglianico, the region's dark-skinned backbone, appears in two expressions: the Cretarossa Irpinia Campi Taurasini and the Terzotratto Taurasi, both structured reds that reflect the demanding terroir of Irpinia. Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator have all assessed the winery's output. The wines sit at the intersection of Campania's classical identity and the particular geology of their hillside sites.
