Idiom produces wines from Stellenbosch, in the Coastal Region of South Africa's Western Cape. The winery's portfolio centers on two distinctive blends. R Rodanico Blend combines Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Viognier—a structure that marries the dark fruit and spice of the Rhône varieties with the aromatic lift of white grapes. C Cape Blend, the traditional South African form, draws from Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. A single-varietal Viognier rounds out the core range. Wines from Idiom have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff.
