Il Cancelliere works with Aglianico, the dark-skinned grape that defines serious red wine in Campania. The winery's core expression is Nero Né Taurasi, a wine from the volcanic soils of Taurasi DOCG in Irpinia, where Aglianico develops structure and depth. A Riserva version extends the aging potential of the same vineyard site. Gioviano Irpinia, also Aglianico-based, offers a complementary view of the region's terroir. All three wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. Aglianico in this region tends toward dark fruit, mineral tension, and tannin architecture—qualities that reward bottle age and pair naturally with the robust food culture of southern Italy.
