Jacùss
Jacùss produces wines from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the northeastern Italian region known for its mineral-driven whites and distinctive native red varieties. The winery focuses on grapes rooted in the Friuli terroir: Tazzelenghe and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, both dark-skinned varieties with structure and regional character. The Friuli Colli Orientali Tazzelenghe, sourced from the acclaimed Colli Orientali subzone, has been rated by Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate. The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, another expression of the region's indigenous grapes, similarly draws assessment from prestige critics. These wines reflect the volcanic and limestone soils of northeastern Italy, where Tazzelenghe and Refosco varieties develop their characteristic tannin profiles and earthy complexity.
