Julien Brocard produces Chardonnay from Chablis, the northernmost expression of Burgundy's limestone terroirs. The winery's portfolio spans the region's classification hierarchy: the 7éme Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru 'Montée de Tonnerre', and Chablis Grand Cru 'Les Preuses' each demonstrate the mineral precision and crisp acidity that define the appellation. Chablis Chardonnay, grown in cool continental conditions, develops the steely, flinty character for which the region is prized—a counterpoint to the richer expressions found further south in Burgundy. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator.
