Kopke

Kopke produces fortified wines from the Duriense region of northern Portugal, drawing on the steep terroirs of the Douro Valley. The winery's portfolio centers on Port and related fortified styles, crafted from traditional Portuguese varieties: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, and Tinta Roriz lend structure and depth to its aged expressions. The Porto Colheita 375 Anniversary, a blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Barroca, represents the house's commitment to complexity and balance in older vintages. The Port Old World Selected Tawny, built from Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz, showcases the oxidative aging that defines the tawny category. A Moscatel Douro 10 Years Old rounds out the range, offering an alternative expression of the region's fortified tradition. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Falstaff.
