The house works with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the classical grapes of the appellation, crafting wines that reflect the chalky soils and cool climate of northern France. Cuvée Les Meslaines, a Grand Cru bottling built on Pinot Noir, shows the dark fruit and mineral structure characteristic of the variety in Champagne's finest sites. Cuvée Heliades Brut Grand Cru blends Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, marrying the crisp acidity and citrus notes of white grapes with the depth and complexity Pinot brings to the blend. A non-vintage Les Meslaines rounds the portfolio. Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate have all rated Lamiable's releases, underscoring their standing among serious Champagne producers.
