Le Ragose

Le Ragose produces Amarone della Valpolicella from the heart of Veneto's most celebrated red-wine zone. The winery's portfolio centers on the region's traditional dried-grape method, which concentrates fruit and tannin into wines of dark intensity and structure. The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, built from Corvina and Rondinella, and the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva, which adds Corvinone to the blend, represent the house's core expression of this demanding style. A third offering, the Amarone Della Valpolicella Marta Galli, incorporates Cabernet Sauvignon alongside the native varieties. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff. Valpolicella's volcanic and limestone soils, combined with the appassimento technique—where grapes dry before fermentation—yield wines marked by ripe dark fruit, bitter-cherry notes, and the structured warmth characteristic of the region.
