Luiano

Luiano is a Tuscan producer working with Sangiovese, the region's defining grape. The winery's portfolio centers on expressions of Chianti Classico—the entry-level bottling and a Riserva—alongside Luianico Toscana Rosso, a pure Sangiovese that sits outside the Chianti designation. All three wines have been assessed by major critics including Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. Sangiovese in central Tuscany yields wines of structure and acidity, with the capacity to age. The Riserva format signals extended barrel time and stricter production standards than the standard Chianti Classico. Luiano's focus remains on this single varietal across different terroir expressions and aging protocols—a classical Tuscan approach.
