Mantellassi produces wines from Maremma in southern Tuscany, a coastal region known for its mineral-rich soils and maritime influence. The winery focuses on indigenous and regional varieties suited to the area's warm, dry climate. Scalandrino Maremma Toscana Vermentino, the flagship white, showcases the crisp, saline character typical of Vermentino grown near the Tyrrhenian coast. Lucumone, also a Vermentino, offers a complementary expression of the variety. Maestrale, made from Ciliegiolo, demonstrates the winery's engagement with Tuscany's traditional red grapes—a variety prized for its bright acidity and red-fruit profile.
