Metinella produces wines from Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany. The winery's portfolio centers on Nobile di Montepulciano, the region's signature expression of Sangiovese and its traditional blending partners. The Burberosso Nobile di Montepulciano, a blend of Prugnolo Gentile, Canaiolo Nero, and Mammolo, represents the winery's core offering. A Riserva version, built on Sangiovese, extends the range with additional aging and structure. The 142-4 Nobile di Montepulciano rounds out the lineup, also anchored in Sangiovese. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast and Decanter, reflecting the winery's place within Tuscany's classical framework. Montepulciano's elevation and clay-limestone soils shape wines of mineral tension and savory depth—characteristics evident across Metinella's releases.
