Monte dei Ragni produces wines from Valpolicella, the historic red wine region of Veneto in Northern Italy. The winery works with the classic varieties of the zone: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, which form the backbone of its Amarone della Valpolicella Classico and Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore. It also makes Inamphora, a white wine from Garganega, the principal white grape of the region. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator. Valpolicella's terroir—marked by limestone-rich soils and the moderating influence of Lake Garda—shapes wines of structure and depth, from the lighter, fresher ripasso style to the concentrated, dried-grape intensity of Amarone.
