Ognissole works with the native grapes of Puglia, the sun-soaked region at Italy's heel. The winery's portfolio centers on three distinctive reds: Essentia Loci Primitivo, a wine built on the dark-skinned Primitivo variety; Negroamaro, named for the grape that defines much of southern Puglian viticulture; and Magnus Nero di Troia, which draws from one of the region's historic cultivars.
