Pedra Cancela produces wines from Dão, the granite-bedded region of central Portugal's Beiras. The winery draws on Dão's signature varieties: Encruzado for white wines of mineral precision, and a constellation of native reds—Alfrocheiro Preto, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional—that thrive in the region's cool, elevated vineyards. The Vinha da Fidalga Encruzado, a single-varietal white, has earned recognition from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate. The Reserva Tinto, a blend anchored in Alfrocheiro Preto, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional, reflects the depth and structure characteristic of serious Dão reds. A rosé from the same trio of grapes rounds the portfolio.
