Peter Sölva produces wines in Südtirol–Alto Adige, the Alpine region of northern Italy where cool nights and mineral-rich soils shape distinctive reds. The winery focuses on Bordeaux varieties and local grapes, blending them into structured wines that reflect the territory's continental climate. Amistar Edizione Red, a five-grape blend anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon with Lagrein, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, represents the house style—layered and age-worthy. The Amistar Rosso Cuvèe, a four-varietal blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Lagrein, offers similar complexity. De Silva Merlot Riserva showcases the potential of single-varietal expression in the region. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
