Pier produces wines from Langhe, in Piemonte's prestigious heartland. The winery works with Nebbiolo, the region's signature variety, crafting structured Barbaresco Riservas—Piccola Emma and Rio Sordo among them—that express the grape's characteristic tannin and complexity. Barbera d'Alba rounds the portfolio, offering the darker fruit and acidity typical of the variety in this zone. Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator have rated the releases.
