Plozza operates in Valtellina, the Alpine valley of Lombardia where Nebbiolo thrives in steep, sun-exposed vineyards. The winery's portfolio centers on two expressions of this demanding varietal: Grumello Valtellina Superiore and Valtellina Superiore Riserva Inferno, both drawing structure and mineral precision from the region's schist soils and continental climate. The Inferno, aged in reserve, shows the depth characteristic of Nebbiolo at its most serious.
