Polvanera

Polvanera works with the native grapes of Puglia, the sun-soaked region that forms Italy's heel. The winery's portfolio centers on varieties deeply rooted in Southern Italian terroir: Negroamaro, Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and Aglianico. La Marchesana Negroamaro, a single-varietal expression, and 17 Primitivo Gioia del Colle showcase the region's dark-skinned grape traditions with structure and depth. Montevella Rosé, a field blend of five varieties including Primitivo and Negroamaro, demonstrates the winery's approach to blending indigenous stock. The wines have drawn assessment from major critics including Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator, reflecting their standing within the international wine press.
