Tempranillo and Verdejo from Spain's continental heartland.

Riberalta produces wines from Castilla y León, Spain's vast central plateau. The winery works with the region's signature grapes: Tempranillo, which yields structured reds with earthy depth, and Verdejo, the aromatic white varietal native to these continental vineyards. The Vega Izan Crianza, a Tempranillo aged in oak, demonstrates the grape's capacity for complexity and aging potential. The Vega Izan Verdejo showcases the mineral, herbaceous character typical of Verdejo from this terroir. Both wines have been evaluated by Wine Spectator. Castilla y León's high altitude and temperature swings create conditions that concentrate flavor while maintaining acidity—a balance that defines the region's best expressions.
