Roagna

Roagna produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Barbaresco in Piemonte, Italy's northeastern region. The winery's portfolio centers on two vineyard designates: Crichet Pajè, which yields both a standard Barbaresco and a Riserva expression, and Pira, from which a Barolo Riserva emerges. Nebbiolo, the region's signature variety, demands cool slopes and patient winemaking—it yields wines of structure, perfume, and aging potential. Roagna's Crichet Pajè Barbaresco Riserva and Pira Barolo Riserva have drawn assessment from major critics including Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff. The standard Crichet Pajè Barbaresco rounds out the core range. These are serious expressions of Piemontese terroir, built on Nebbiolo's characteristic tannin and acidity.
