Rolet produces wines from Arbois, in the Jura's Côtes du Jura appellation, where continental climate and limestone-rich soils shape distinctive white varieties. The winery works with Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Poulsard—grapes that define the region's mineral, age-worthy character. The Vin de Paille Arbois, a blend of Chardonnay, Poulsard, and Savagnin, and the Expression du Terroir Côtes du Jura, made from Savagnin and Chardonnay, represent the winery's approach to capturing terroir. The Arbois Vin Jaune, crafted from Savagnin alone, exemplifies the region's most singular expression: oxidative aging under flor yeast that yields nutty, complex wines built for the cellar. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
