Sandeman produces Port wines from the Duriense region of northern Portugal, drawing on the steep terraced vineyards that define this UNESCO-listed landscape. The winery works with the classic Port varieties—Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz among them—to craft fortified wines of depth and structure. Partners' Finest Old Port, a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional, represents the upper tier of the portfolio. Quinta do Seixo Vintage Port and Old Invalid Porto, both built from similar noble grapes with subtle variation, demonstrate the range possible within the Port category. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff. Port itself demands patience and precision in production—the fortification, aging, and blending processes shape the final character. Sandeman's offerings span the spectrum of Port styles, from aged tawnies to vintage expressions, each reflecting the mineral soils and continental climate of the Douro Valley.
