Schloss Saarstein produces Riesling from the Mosel, Germany's most celebrated region for the variety. The winery's portfolio centers on the grape in its classical expressions: the Serriger Schloss Saarsteiner Riesling Beerenauslese, a botrytized dessert wine of concentrated sweetness and complexity; the Alte Reben Riesling, drawn from older vines; and the Riesling Spätlese, a late-harvest style balancing ripeness with acidity. Mosel Rieslings are defined by their mineral precision, floral aromatics, and the interplay between fruit and the region's slate-driven terroir. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Falstaff, and Decanter.
