Schlossgut produces wines from Baden, Germany's warmest wine region, where continental influences and limestone soils create conditions for ripe, structured expressions of Pinot varieties. The winery's Isteiner Kirchberg Weißburgunder Spätlese Trocken—a dry, late-harvest white—demonstrates the mineral precision and body that Baden's terroir imparts to Weissburgunder. Its Spätburgunder Auslese Trocken, made from the region's signature red grape, shows the dark fruit and tannin structure characteristic of the variety when fully ripe. The Weiss Edition Wiedmer Pinot Brut, a sparkling wine from Pinot Noir, extends the winery's range into méthode classique territory.
