Skoff Original operates in Südsteiermark, the southernmost wine region of Steiermark in Austria's Steirerland. The winery focuses on Sauvignon Blanc, a variety that thrives in this cool Alpine climate, where limestone-rich soils and diurnal temperature swings produce wines of mineral precision and aromatic intensity. The Royal Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc 30, and Obegg Sauvignon Blanc form the core of the portfolio, each expressing the terroir of their respective vineyard sites. Falstaff has rated these expressions, with the Royal bottling achieving particular recognition.
