Strappelli produces Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the Colline Teramane zone in Abruzzo, Central Italy. The region's continental climate and calcareous soils shape wines of structure and depth. The winery's portfolio centers on three expressions of this native Montepulciano varietal: Colline Teramane Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, the mid-range Colle Trà Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane, and Celibe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva, a reserve bottling that represents the upper tier of the range. Montepulciano, grown across Abruzzo's hillsides, yields wines marked by dark fruit, earthy undertones, and firm tannin structure.
