Tarapacá

Tarapacá operates in Maipo Valley, the Central Valley's most established red wine region. The winery produces wines across Bordeaux and Rhône varieties, with particular focus on Carménère—Chile's signature grape—alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The Tara-Pakay, a Syrah-Cabernet blend, represents the upper tier of the portfolio. The Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra Carménère showcases the variety's dark fruit and spice character, while the Gran Reserva Etiqueta Azul Red Blend draws on Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. Maipo's warm days and cool nights create the conditions for ripe, structured reds with balance. Tarapacá's wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter.
