Tement produces Sauvignon Blancs from Südsteiermark, the southernmost wine region of Styria in Austria. The winery's portfolio centers on single-vineyard expressions from Ried Zieregg, a site that yields wines of remarkable precision and mineral intensity. Ried Zieregg Kår and Ried Zieregg Weisse Wand represent the apex of these efforts, both Sauvignon Blancs that have earned the highest marks from prestige critics including Wine Advocate, Falstaff, Wine Spectator, and Decanter. Ried Zieregg Karmeliten Terrassen, also a Sauvignon Blanc from the same vineyard, rounds out the flagship range. Südsteiermark's continental Alpine climate and limestone-rich soils create the conditions for Sauvignon Blancs of distinctive character—wines marked by aromatic intensity, crisp acidity, and layered complexity that reflect their terroir.
