Tenute Navarra operates in Sicilia, the southernmost region of Italy's wine landscape. The winery draws from Terre Siciliane, where Mediterranean heat and volcanic soils shape the character of indigenous varieties. Nero d'Avola, a dark-skinned grape native to Sicily, forms the backbone of the estate's portfolio. The flagship Scurò is built entirely from Nero d'Avola, while Maribu blends Nero d'Avola with Frappato, a lighter red variety that adds aromatic lift and freshness. Both wines have been assessed by Decanter. The Sicilian terroir imparts bold, sun-ripened fruit and mineral structure to these expressions, reflecting the island's position at the crossroads of Mediterranean viticulture.
