Thymiopoulos operates in Naoussa, the heart of Imathia in Macedonia, where the continental climate and limestone-rich soils shape wines of mineral precision and structure. The winery works primarily with indigenous Greek varieties—Xinomavro, Stavroto, and Krassato—grapes that thrive in this northern region and express the terroir with distinctive character. Cuvée Amphore Blanc des Côteaux, the flagship white, demonstrates the potential of the region's whites, while Rosé de Xinomavro captures the versatility of Xinomavro beyond its traditional red expression. Terra Petra, a field blend of the three local varieties, anchors the portfolio in the soil-driven identity of Naoussa itself. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator, reflecting their standing within serious wine criticism.
