Tupinier-Bautista

Tupinier-Bautista produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Mercurey, the principal appellation of Côte Chalonnaise in Bourgogne. The winery's Mercurey 1er Cru 'Clos du Roy' Pinot Noir and Mercurey 1er Cru 'Les Vellées' Blanc Chardonnay have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter. The standard Mercurey Pinot Noir rounds out the portfolio. Côte Chalonnaise sits south of Côte d'Or and offers a cooler climate suited to elegant, mineral-driven expressions of Burgundy's classic varieties. The 1er Cru designations signal vineyard-specific character and stricter production rules. These wines reflect the region's tradition of restrained power and food-friendly acidity.
