Villa Girardi produces wines from Valpolicella, the historic red wine region of Veneto in Northern Italy. The winery works with the classic Valpolicella blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara—grapes that define the area's character: bright acidity, cherry-forward fruit, and subtle earthiness. The Valpolicella Classico offers the blend in its everyday expression. The Bure Alto Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore employs the traditional ripasso method, where wine is refermented on the skins of dried-grape Amarone production, adding depth and structure. The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico represents the region's most concentrated style: grapes dried before fermentation yield a rich, full-bodied wine with layers of dried fruit and spice.
