Vizar produces red wines in Castilla y León, Spain's expansive continental heartland. The winery works primarily with Tempranillo, the region's signature variety, alongside international grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Its portfolio centers on three flagship releases: Selección Especial, a Shiraz and Tempranillo blend; Prestigio, which marries Cabernet Sauvignon with Tempranillo; and a varietal Syrah. These wines have been assessed by major critics including Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Decanter. The Selección Especial leads the range in critical reception.
