Abadal produces wines from Catalunya, a region in northeastern Spain known for its diverse terroirs and indigenous grape varieties. The winery focuses on local cultivars: Picapoll Blanco, a crisp white varietal; Sumoll, a dark-skinned grape with structure; Mandón, which appears across both white and red expressions; and blends that combine these grapes in different proportions. Nuat, a Picapoll Blanco, represents the winery's work with this aromatic white. Arboset blends Sumoll, Mandón, and Picapoll Blanco into a more complex expression. Mandó showcases Mandón as a single varietal. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter, reflecting their engagement with the international wine critical establishment.
