Antichi Vinai works with the volcanic terroirs of Etna in Terre Siciliane, Sicily's premier wine region. The winery focuses on Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, indigenous varieties that thrive on Mount Etna's mineral-rich slopes. Ciclope Etna Rosso, a blend of both grapes, represents the winery's core expression of the region's dark-fruited, structured reds. Koiné Etna Riserva offers a reserve interpretation of the same varieties, while Petra Lava Rosato demonstrates the aromatic potential of Nerello grapes in rosé form. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
