Barberani produces wines from Umbria, the heart of Central Italy. The winery works with the region's signature varieties: Sangiovese for structured reds, and the white grapes—Procanico, Grechetto, Trebbiano—that define Orvieto's mineral character. Polvento, a Sangiovese, and Calcaia Orvieto Classico Superiore Dolce, a sweet white blend, represent the winery's range at the highest level. A Moscato Passito rounds out the portfolio, capturing the aromatic intensity of the Moscato grape in concentrated form. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
