Borgianni produces wines from Chianti, the historic red wine region of central Tuscany. The winery's Chianti draws from the traditional blend of Sangiovese, Mammolo, Colorino del Valdarno, Canaiolo Nero, and Ciliegiolo—grapes that define the area's character. Sangiovese, the dominant variety, brings structure and acidity; the supporting grapes add depth and complexity. Borgianni also makes a Chianti Classico from pure Sangiovese, reflecting the region's core expression. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. The Chianti represents the winery's fuller interpretation of the blend, while the Chianti Classico offers a focused study of Sangiovese in its classic Tuscan form.
