Frank Cornelissen works with the volcanic soils and indigenous varieties of Terre Siciliane in southern Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on two principal grapes: Carricante and Grecanico for whites, and Nerello Mascalese for reds—varieties that thrive in Sicily's distinctive terroir. MunJebel Classico Bianco, a blend of Carricante and Grecanico, represents the white expression, while Magma and MunJebel MC Rosso showcase Nerello Mascalese in different iterations. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Spectator. The volcanic character of the region—mineral-driven, structured, with natural acidity—defines the house style across both red and white offerings.
