Funaro produces wines from Sicilia, in Southern Italy's Terre Siciliane region. The winery works with both international and indigenous varieties, drawing on Sicily's distinctive terroir. Verdelicia, a Chardonnay, represents the winery's work with classic white grapes, while Nero d'Avola and Pinzeri—made from the native Nero d'Avola and Grillo varieties respectively—anchor the portfolio in regional character. Grillo, a crisp white native to Sicily, and Nero d'Avola, the island's signature red, reflect the winery's engagement with local viticulture. Funaro's wines have been assessed by Falstaff and Wine Enthusiast.
