Kumusha operates in Slanghoek, a subregion of Breedekloof in the Breede River Valley of South Africa's Western Cape. The winery produces wines across both red and white varieties, drawing on the region's warm, dry climate and diverse soils. Hurudza, a Cabernet Franc–led blend with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon, represents the winery's red-wine ambition. Flame Lily, a white blend of Roussanne, Sémillon, Colombard, and Chenin Blanc, showcases the aromatic and textural range available in the valley. A Cabernet Sauvignon–Cinsault blend rounds out the portfolio, pairing the structure of Cabernet with the bright, spicy character of Cinsault. Wines from Kumusha have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Decanter.
