Le Bignele produces wines from Valpolicella, the Veneto region of Northern Italy where the traditional ripasso and amarone methods shape distinctive red expressions. The winery works with the classic Valpolicella blend—Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara—in three core releases. The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, made from partially dried grapes, shows the concentration and structure the style demands. The Valpolicella Classico Superiore offers a more immediate expression of the same fruit. The Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, where dried grape skins are reintroduced to fresh wine, bridges the two in weight and complexity. Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Falstaff have rated across the portfolio.
