Li Veli produces wines from Puglia, the sun-drenched region at the heel of southern Italy. The winery works with native and international varieties suited to the region's warm climate and distinctive terroir. Aleatico Passito, a sweet wine made from the Aleatico grape, represents the winery's exploration of the region's dessert wine potential. MLV Primitivo blends the local Primitivo with Cabernet Sauvignon, marrying Puglian tradition with international structure. Salice Salentino, built from Negroamaro, draws on one of the region's signature dark varieties. These wines have been assessed by major critics including Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
