Losada produces wines in Bierzo, the mountainous northwest corner of Castilla y León, where Atlantic influence and high altitude shape distinctive character. The winery focuses on two regional varieties: Tempranillo and Mencia, the latter a dark-skinned grape native to the zone that thrives in Bierzo's cool conditions. Altos de Losada Los Cerezos, a Tempranillo, and La Bienquerida, a Mencia, represent the winery's core offerings and have drawn assessment from major critics including Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Falstaff, and Decanter. The Altos de Losada line extends across both varieties, anchoring the portfolio.
