Marchesi Gondi - Tenuta Bossi

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi works the hillsides of Chianti Rùfina, a subregion of Toscana known for Sangiovese of structure and depth. The estate produces Riserva-level reds built on Sangiovese, sometimes blended with Colorino del Valdarno, a local variety that adds texture and grip. The Vigneto Poggio Diamante Chianti Rùfina Riserva and Pian dei Sorbi Chianti Rùfina Riserva represent the core of this work—wines that reflect the mineral soils and altitude of the zone. The winery also makes Cardinal de Retz, a Vin Santo del Chianti Rùfina from Trebbiano, the region's traditional sweet wine grape. Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate have all rated these bottlings.
