Massimago produces wines from Veneto in Northern Italy, drawing on the region's signature grapes and traditional styles. The winery's portfolio centers on Valpolicella expressions: the SVM400 Amarone della Valpolicella, a dried-grape wine built from Rondinella, Corvina, and Corvinone; the Duca Fedele Valpolicella, a blend of Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella; and the Valpolicella Superiore, combining Rondinella, Corvinone, and Corvina. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator. Amarone della Valpolicella, made from partially dried fruit, develops concentrated dark fruit and structured tannins characteristic of the style. The fresher Valpolicella expressions offer the region's typical bright cherry and herb notes with moderate body. Veneto's continental climate and limestone-rich soils shape the character of these native varieties, which thrive in the foothills north of Verona.
