Weingut Trapl operates in Carnuntum, Austria's easternmost wine region, where continental climate and loess-rich soils favor both red and white varieties. The winery produces Blaufränkisch, Austria's signature dark-skinned grape, alongside international varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zweigelt. Their Blaufränkisch Spitzerberg expresses the varietal's characteristic structure and mineral character. The Grüner Veltliner demonstrates the region's capacity for crisp, mineral whites. Tilhofen, a Bordeaux-style blend, integrates Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Zweigelt into a single expression. The portfolio has been assessed by Wine Advocate, Falstaff, and Decanter.
