In one of the oldest & biggest wine producing regions in Greece and home of Megarea son of Enoe, in ancient times. Vine & Grape bunch in hand: 🍇Malagouzia Terroir: throughout the Greek Vineyard. This aromatic, ethereal Greek indigenous white variety was rediscovered in the ’70 at Aitoloakarnania region, in Central Greece and in the following years conquered the country. Charismatic as it is was definitely one of the first grapes who brought the attention of producers and wine lovers to the indigenous Greek grapes in the last 2 decades, introducing them to the modern wine world. A stylish “pure breed” of defined character, adapted well to the multitude of Greek terroirs, giving different, excellent expressions. It prefers a lower temperatures terroir or a higher altitude vineyard location where it produces elegant white wines in general aromatic, pleasant and joyful with aromas of green apple, pear, citrus and vegetal notes.
