Bartolo Mascarello is the reference for traditional Barolo: large old oak, the historic multi-parcel blend, and a refusal to follow the shift toward barrique. The range stays narrow and Nebbiolo-led — Barolo, Barolo Riserva, and a single-vineyard Cannubi — backed by the Langhe quartet of Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, and a Barbaresco from outside the home appellation. Four prestige critics rate the range; Decanter, Vinous, and Wine Advocate scores cluster around the low 90s on the standard Barolo, with the Riserva and back vintages pushing higher. The 'No Barrique No Berlusconi' label remains the estate's most visible statement on house style.
