Château de Fargues sits in Sauternes, the storied sweet-wine enclave of Bordeaux. The estate produces two distinct expressions: a Sauternes built from Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, and Guilhem de Fargues, a dry Bordeaux that blends Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. The dry Bordeaux, too, has drawn attention from the same roster of prestige critics.
