EXCELLENT · CRITICS' CONSENSUS

Friuli-Venezia Giulia producer of Schioppettino, Picolit, and Ribolla Gialla.

Marco Sara works with the distinctive varieties of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the northeastern Italian region known for its mineral-driven whites and rare indigenous grapes. The winery's Schioppettino, made from the region's signature red variety, has been rated by Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. Picolit, the golden dessert wine from the local Picolit grape, represents another expression of Friuli's viticultural identity. Ribolla Gialla, a crisp white from one of the region's most celebrated varieties, rounds out the portfolio. These wines reflect the terroir of a region where Alpine influence and limestone soils shape the character of the glass.
